Nonprofit Organization
NAMI Central Florida is a nonprofit organization that provides free mental health education, support, and advocacy for individuals with mental health conditions and their families or caregivers. Services include free 8-week educational classes led by NAMI-trained peers and family members with lived experience, peer-led support groups (weekly or monthly, in person and virtual), community presentations and trainings, and connections to community resources to support a wide range of needs, including access to mental health treatment, therapy, and legal or advocacy support. Programs are non-clinical and offered at no cost.
Life Reins
Nonprofit OrganizationLife Reins, Inc. is dedicated to providing trauma-informed mental health services through Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) to individuals and communities in need. Our mission is to promote healing, resilience, and empowerment by connecting people with the restorative power of horses in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. We are committed to serving vulnerable populations—including survivors of trauma & human trafficking, at-risk youth, addiction recovery, and first responders—across Central Florida.
